My Kintsugi

A million thoughts in my mind,

All thoughts about you.

Thoughts to find you, to have you in my arms.
Thoughts to live my life with you.

Then the thought of fear comes in, Trembles my soul with sorrow and despair, Thinking of that ever-unfulfilled desire.

Like the darkness in a deep ocean, Where shadows dance in depths,
Carving the saddest story,
Telling the cruel truth,
The truth, which I wish to be untrue.

And memories that shook my soul.
Memories of that moment, When my dreams got scattered into a million pieces.

Now it's time,
To find the scattered pieces,
To make them more beautiful, more valuable.
Like the marvelous art of kintsugi.

Gathering the fragments, I begin to see, Each shard a lesson, a part of me,
With golden seams of strength and grace, Rebuilding love's mosaic, I embrace.

In the tapestry of time, anew we rise,
Filled with hope, dispelling the disguise, For though the past is etched in pain,
Our kintsugi hearts shall love again.
